Daily management and leadership of the project site and daily performance of all trades. Ensure the safety of the job site for all employees and subcontractor trades. Responsible for the overall organization and cleanliness of the site and working with subcontractor trades for their role in this. Daily job site and trade coordination. Working directly with Project Managers to include, but not limited to, coordination of labor, material and equipment deliveries, critical path scheduling, progress updates, etc. Creative problem-solving ability to include troubleshooting and conflict resolution. Responsible for task planning. Ability to anticipate potential issues and addressing them in advance of occurrence. Keeping the client’s vision and mission in sight and on-site at all times.
Education and Experience Required:
High School diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred Minimum 3 years of experience running commercial construction/renovation projects starting at $10M; Healthcare build preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a solid ability to execute construction and renovation projects Thorough knowledge of commercial construction costs, methods and implementation. Proficient in reading and understanding architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. Skilled in Microsoft “Office” products and familiar with project management and estimating software. Ability to handle multiple tasks & projects, excellent communication, and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple building trades to ensure harmony and productivity on the job site. Availability for periodic travel to out-of-state projects. Drug-free workplace; Able to pass a mandatory background check and drug screening. OSHA 30 experience.
